General Occupational Therapy Services

Pediatric and adult services are offered. 

Evaluations, screenings, and consultations are also available.

Neurologic Rehabilitation

We utilize evidence-based approaches to restore function and improve quality of life for individuals recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, or neurodegenerative conditions. Our personalized care addresseses cognitive, sensory, and motor challenges is integral to this approach.

Modalities and protocols including Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, KinesioTaping or Leukotaping, splinting/orthotics, and modified Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (mCIMT) are regularly used to meet our patients' goals. 

Upper Extremity Rehabilitation

Our specialized programs focus on strength, coordination, and dexterity in order to  develop functional movement patterns, enhance daily independence, and improve outcomes. 

Vestibular & Concussion Rehabilitation

We specialize in treating balance disorders and post-concussion symptoms with evidence-based interventions. Through targeted exercises, visual and vestibular integration, and balance training, we help patients regain stability and reduce dizziness, ensuring a safe and effective return to physical activity.

Assistive Technology Services

Assistive Technology services available for both pediatric and adult clients.

-Alternative Access Method Assessment 

-Home Modification Consultation (Barrier-Free Design)

-Communication/AAC assessments

-Power Wheelchair and Manual Wheelchair Training

-Workplace and Ergonomic Assessments

-Low Vision Recommendations

-Return-to-work or school assessments after injury

Pediatric Feeding Disorders: SOS Approach 

The SOS Approach to Feeding (aka "Sequential, Oral, Sensory") is a Transdisciplinary Program designed to assess and treat children experiencing difficulties with feeding and/or weight/growth. This program adopts a holistic approach, integrating motor, oral-motor, learning, medical, sensory, and nutritional factors, to identify the underlying causes and skill deficits contributing to a child’s feeding and growth challenges.

Intensive Programming

2-3 week intensives are available, and consist of 4-5 days of therapy per week. Programming may differ based on diagnosis and patient/family goals.

Intensive programs include but are not limited to:

-Modified Constraint Induced Movement Thrapy (mCIMT) for Upper Extremity Training 

-Aquatic Therapy

-Cerebral Palsy & Upper Extremity Spasticity Management (including Post-Botox Injections) 

-Wheelchair Training (Power & Manual)

-SOS Approach to Feeding* 

-Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI)*
