Katie Ross, OTR/L, ATP, AIB-VRC
Katie Ross is a licensed occupational therapist with extensive experience providing evidence-based rehabilitation services across pediatric and adult populations. Drawing from advanced clinical training at leading institutions including Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Medical Center, and NYU Langone Health, Katie has developed a comprehensive, individualized approach focused on helping clients build independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life.

Pediatric & Developmental Therapy
Specialized experience supporting infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, neurologic, and motor-based challenges. Areas of focus include prematurity and NICU graduate follow-up, cerebral palsy, torticollis, brachial plexus injuries, developmental coordination disorder, fine motor delays, sensory-motor development, and functional independence across home, school, and community environments.
Neurologic & Rehabilitation Services
Experience providing rehabilitation services for adults recovering from neurologic, orthopedic, and medically complex conditions. Treatment emphasizes functional mobility, upper extremity recovery, adaptive strategies, cognitive and visual-motor skills, and improving independence and participation in meaningful daily activities.
Upper Extremity & Hand Therapy
Advanced clinical experience in upper extremity rehabilitation, including hand function, strength, coordination, motor planning, positioning, splinting recommendations, and functional use of the arms and hands during daily activities. Treatment approaches are individualized to support both pediatric and adult clients in maximizing independence and participation.
Vestibular & Concussion Rehabilitation
Certified through the American Institute of Balance, Katie holds advanced training to treat of vestibular dysfunction, balance impairments, dizziness, visual-vestibular difficulties, and concussion-related symptoms due to post-concuission syndrome. Treatment focuses on improving functional participation, postural control, regulation, and tolerance for daily activities to return to prior level of function.
Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic therapy services are designed to support individuals across the lifespan with neurologic, congenital, progressive, orthopedic, and rehabilitative diagnoses. Utilizing the therapeutic properties of water to support movement, regulation, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, and mobility, aquatic therapy can provide a supportive environment for clients who may benefit from decreased joint loading, increased sensory input, or alternative movement opportunities. Interventions are individualized to promote functional participation, confidence, and overall quality of life.
Assistive Technology, Seating & Environmental Access
As a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), Katie provides comprehensive assessment and intervention related to advanced wheelchair seating and positioning, complex mobility evaluations, power mobility training, access method determination, AAC optimization and adaptive equipment recommendations. Services also include environmental access consultation, barrier-free design recommendations, and home modification strategies to improve accessibility, safety, and independence across settings.
Feeding & Family-Centered Care
Training in the SOS Approach to Feeding informs a responsive, relationship-based approach to feeding and mealtime participation. Across all areas of practice, Katie values collaboration with clients, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary providers to create meaningful, individualized treatment plans that support long-term success and quality of life.
